What happens after someone finds you?

A lot of marketing focuses on getting found.

Rank higher on Google.

Run an advertisement.

Post on social media.

Get listed in more places.

Show up in AI recommendations.

All of that matters.

But being found only creates an opportunity.

Once someone discovers a business, another process begins.

They look at the reviews.

They visit the website.

They try to understand what the company actually does.

They look for signs that the business is legitimate.

They compare it with alternatives.

They decide whether contacting the company feels worth it.

And finally, they figure out how to make contact.

That's why I've started looking at local businesses through three simple questions:

Can they be found?

Would they be chosen?

Can they be contacted easily?

Getting discovered matters.

But what happens after someone finds you may matter even more.
